Hello! I'm Alexander, a trans, autistic artist and writer who has a lot of hyperfixations and many fandoms I enjoy being a part of!Please call me Alex or Xander!I've been drawing since I was 11, professionally since I was 15, and I've traveled a lot as a kid. I'm 25, way too tired of online discourse (but still finds myself getting into it with people), and will sit and infodump about my faves for hours.My pronouns are he/him/aer/aes.I'm the host of the Ballpit system, a part traumagenic and endogenic system. I front most of the time, but you may hear from some of the others!I am profic/proship, pro-kink and anti-harrassment. I operate under the "don't like, don't read" manta and firmly believe that fiction does not equal nor influence reality. You will not find this is the place to hang out if you harass people over fictional ships and kink. I'm a CSA survivor and find healing and comfort in fiction, like many therapists endorse.

Welcome to the Ballpit!

"The Ballpit" is the name of our little collective here. Alex is our host and fronts most of the time, while Goro and Emma co-fronts alongside him. Not every member fronts, but are open to it should they feel so, and will do their best to introduce themselves or otherwise make themselves known when they're at the front. It's quite common for Alex to relay things for them even when he's fronting.A general rule is that anyone can refer to us as Alex and he/him unless someone makes themselves known to be speaking.

Emma is the primary Caretaker of the Ballpit, a motherhen for us. Her birthday is December 27th, and she is 33 years old. Her favorite color is baby blue, and she likes musicals. She makes an effort to announce when she's speaking, but forgets to sometimes.
Emma also uses she/they pronouns.

Goro is the primary Protector of the Ballpit, and oftentimes butts in to help Alex diffuse situations. His birthday is June 2nd, and he's 25 years old. He says he likes sweets, but he always reaches for savory snacks first. His proper speaking and typing habits make him sound like a hardass, but he's a big softie deep down. He signs his messages with "-G".
Goro's pronouns are he/him.

Pidge typically does not front but is often vocal with commentary, and Alex will relay his antics when he doesn't feel like speaking for himself. He loves to make crass jokes, but is also a big softie. His birthday is June 15th and He's 24 years old.
Pidge's pronouns are he/she/they.

Ren's the big jokester of the Ballpit, always the first one to make "that's what she said" jokes and the like, but he's quick on the uptake and won't hesitate to quip back to people (which means Alex has to relay a LOT for him.) He doesn't enjoy fronting, more content to sit and observe and commentate from the sidelines. His birthday is April 1st, and he's 24.
Ren goes by he/him.

Vash is a rather quiet member, eager to help people smile and make jokes, he's a sweetheart through and through. He is not eager to front, but has been known to hop in on occasion without signaling. His birthday is July 21st and his favorite food is donuts (specifically sugar sprinkles).

Our eccentric Yusuke keeps to himself most of the time, choosing to have fun on the sidelines on his own and commentating with the others. He likes vanilla pudding and is easily bribed with food. His birthday is January 20th, and he's 24. He uses he/they.

Ryuji likes to banter with Goro and Ren, often trying to butt into conversations but not eager to front or have his words relayed until recently! We welcome him warmly to the space as he gets more comfortable talking to others. His birthday is July 3rd, and he's 24. Ryuji goes by he/him.
